Being a working mother, sometimes I think the 80’s was a great time to be alive. It’s not like I’m not a big fan of women being independent, it’s just that women liked it back then because it was easier for them to handle things. When I get back from work I step right in to the kitchen to make dinner for the kids and then I have to do the dishes and tons of other things around the house. In all these responsibilities I’ve forgotten where I come up with all this. And that’s the absolute worst part. Well, the other day I was searching the internet and I came across these amazing easy to make dinners for the family that take just 10-20 minutes of your time and the rest of the time you can have for yourself. I’m going to share those recipes in this article today so it can help you guys in getting the time that you need for yourself.


Egg salad – It’ll take only 10 minutes of your time and you’ll be getting a delicious dinner for your children. All you’ll need are few hardboiled eggs, a little mayonnaise and some pepper to top it all off. The kids love this more than the regular salads because it has so much more in it than just vegetables. You can also add boiled chicken if you like.

Homemade Pizza – This might sound really hard to make but trust me you won’t have to do anything at all. All you will have to do is get everything that you can that’s leftover in your fridge. That’s right you heard me correctly I’m talking about stupid leftovers that you won’t even bother eating. Take some chicken bits, vegetables and whatever there is and spread them on circular pizza dough that you’ll have to make or get from the market pre-made. Now top it off with cheese and let them stay in the oven for 15 minutes. And there you have it some ready to eat homemade pizza that the family would love having.

Tacos – Tacos are the easiest thing to learn, to be really honest. You can get them premade too although you might have to put them in the oven for a minute or two. Now to serve them you need some salsa. It’s great if dice up some chilies to top it off (not if you don’t like spicy food) now fill the taco nicely and present it to your kids. This is an awesome idea for a healthy and quick dinner.

Hamburgers – Well, yes people think it isn’t healthy enough but guess what? It’s very healthy to give the kids a little fast food to eat. You can get the patties from your local super mart and fry them whenever you have to serve them, now place them on buns with a little ketchup and mustard and voila! You’re done. That was easy, wasn’t it?
